About Root Beginnings After serving as an Army infantry soldier in Iraq, Derrek Root pursued a life in academia where he obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Upon the birth of their first child, Derrek and his wife Ashley began to evaluate their goals as a family and started focusing on healthy living, being happy, and being sustainable. Using his prior education and experiences in management and public affairs, Derrek began to conceptualize and form the multifaceted Root Beginnings by focusing on the needs of their customers [i.e., quality, value, and service], and the specific skill sets that the Root family can offer. Ashley attended the Chef's Academy, where she excelled in culinary arts. As someone with great vision, by identifying the growing need for all natural homemade soaps and candles, and the mounting need for fresh, nutritional, and flavorful chemical free produce and meals, Root Beginnings customers are people who choose to live a healthy lifestyle, and by partnering with these likeminded individuals, we provide the quality products to serve your needs. |
